Dallas, TX - April 12, 2007 - Beginning April 26, 2007, Vari-Lite will embark on a six city road show. As part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration, the Vari-Lite road show will highlight the new VL3500™ Wash luminaire, the newest member of the VARI*LITE® Series 3000™ family of luminaires, along with the complete line of VARI*LITE® automated luminaires. The road show will begin in Los Angeles, CA, and will conclude November 2007 in Orlando, FL.

With an output that exceeds 50,000 lumens, and offering new dimensions in color and beam control, the VL3500™ Wash luminaire will soon be the standard by which all wash lights are measured. The new fixture also features zoomable beam optics, CYM color mixing, variable CTO color temperature correction, dual five-position color wheels, a separate dimmer, and an ultra-fast strobe mechanism. In addition to the optics system, Vari-Lite introduces the VARI*BRITE™ mode. From any zoom position, this mode will allow lighting designers to produce a tight column of remarkably intense light making the VL3500^TM Wash the most versatile wash luminaire on the market.

The complete Vari-Lite road show schedule will consist of Los Angeles, CA (April 26-27), Las Vegas, NV (May 7-8), New York City, NY (May 16-17), Mexico City, Mexico (June 5-6), Nashville, TN (June 14-15), Chicago, IL (June 21-22), and Orlando, FL (November 2007, exact date tbd).
